CranioSacral Therapy is a manual, delicate and non-invasive treatment method that focuses on removing physiological restrictions at the level of the head bones, including those of face and mouth, as well as vertebrae, sacrum bone, coccis and pelvis.

How is CranioSacral therapy performed?

Using a gentle touch, generally only 5 grams, similar to the weight of a 5-pound coin, the therapist releases the craniosacral system restrictions, which results in improved central nervous system functioning.

What should I expect from a treatment?

While the client is lying on the treatment table, completely dressed in light clothing, the therapist, with a slight touch, generally no more than 5 grams, monitors the craniosacral rhythm, and through delicate manipulation techniques, facilitates the elimination of restrictions and imbalances. The therapist will have palms along the body, on the legs, on the head or on the chest, will support the head or backbone in order to eliminate the accumulated tensions.

A treatment can last from 15 minutes to one hour or more, but typical treatment lasts between 45min and one hour.

In intense therapies are programs with 3-hour treatments with at least 3 therapists working simultaneously.

CranioSacral Therapy can be used individually or in conjunction with other therapies.

As a result of therapy, an unrestrained nervous system and a body capable of performing at a high level of performance are achieved.

How many treatments do I need to feel good?

Because we are unique, and the number of treatments is different. There are people who just need a treatment to feel good, there are others who need 3-5, and others who would even need intensive treatments and might benefit greatly from therapy with more therapists. Everything depends on how each individual's body reacts and receives the effects of the treatments.

Can such a therapy be done in parallel with a medical treatment?

CranioSacral Therapy does not interact negatively with any other form of therapy or medication, is a risk-free or side-effects therapy. The therapist will not diagnose or prescribe medicines.

Who can benefit from this therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy is addressed to people with health problems but also to people who want to keep their normal life, to cope with daily stress. It is appropriate for all newborn, third-age groups.

The treatment of children, especially the newborn, is extremely effective and important, both physically and emotionally. From a physical point of view, we need to think through which phases it has to pass and how much pressure is exerted on it being pushed by the contractions of the uterus at birth, and if the birth was difficult and complicated or it was necessary to use forceps or other devices, it can create cranial deformities.
